 n Responsibilities:

We have short-term contract for 3-6 months in a London Borough for a qualified social worker in the Leaving Care Service team. The position is responsible for providing an accountable statutory social work service to young people leaving care, to include assessment, intervention, case planning and review, within the framework of the Children Act 1989 and Children (Leaving Care) Act 2000. You must have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of adolescent development, the ability to undertake direct work with young people and carers, and the ability to analyse information and formulate plans for intervention and service provision for young people. The position is Monday to Friday 35 hours per week.

You must have a CQSW, DipSW, BSW or MSW recognised qualification with proof available on demand. If you trained outside of the United Kingdom, you must have your qualifications verified. Applicants must also be eligible to work in the UK.

We have short-term contract for 3 months in a London Borough for a qualified social worker in Family Protection. The position is responsible for child care planning, family support and child protection, assessments, and the need to work out of hours. You must have demonstrated knowledge of the Childrens’ Act 1989, have 1-2 years post qualification experience, the ability to interview children and families, and a high level of literacy for report writing. You must also have basic skills in MS Office. The position is Monday to Friday 35 hours per week.

We have short-term contract for 3 months in a London Borough for a qualified social worker in an Adult Mental Health Team. You will be required to accept new referrals, undertake assessments, prepare reports for Mental Health tribunals, and have a sound knowledge of discharge planning issues. You must have demonstrated knowledge of the Community Care, Mental Health and other relevant legislation, have 1-2 years post qualification experience, knowledge of race and gender issues in Mental Health social work, and a high level of literacy for report writing. You must also have basic skills in MS Office. The position is Monday to Friday 35 hours per week.
